About the role
- Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely client collections.
- Manage accounts payable and vendor payments with accuracy.
- Track and reconcile bank accounts, invoices, and expenses using Xero.
- Monitor daily cash flow and prepare forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of revenues, costs, and operating expenses.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Ensure VAT and corporate tax compliance in the UAE.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 2–4 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in consulting or SME environments.
- Proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of receivables, payables, reconciliations, and cash flow.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
