Associate Recruiter – Construction Desk
Black & Grey HRRecruiter for Built Environment focusing on candidates in construction, engineering, and architecture. Managing end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on exceptional candidate experience.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle end-to-end recruitment for Built Environment positions across multiple client accounts
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, networking, and database searches
- Understand client requirements, job specifications, and industry-specific hiring needs
- Conduct initial HR screening, candidate assessments, and suitability evaluations
- Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates and clients
- Maintain accurate candidate records within ATS and recruitment trackers
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for ongoing and future hiring requirements
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Meet recruitment targets and contribute to team hiring goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the Built Environment industry
- Experience handling multiple vacancies simultaneously across construction, engineering, architecture, infrastructure, or real estate sectors
- Strong understanding of Built Environment job functions, terminology, and market trends
- Excellent sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, Boolean search techniques, and professional networks
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple client requirements
- Strong follow-up, coordination, and relationship-building skills
- Consultancy recruitment experience is highly preferred
- Experience recruiting for GCC or international markets is an advantage
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred
