About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and evolve our Android applications that power BJAK's insurance and financial products.
- Contribute to features that leverage automation and AI-assisted capabilities to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Be part of a global engineering team working across multiple countries to build reliable, scalable native mobile systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of native Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Strong experience building and shipping production Android applications.
- Solid understanding of Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM/Clean Architecture).
- Strong knowledge of Android lifecycle, performance optimization and native platform best practices.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
- Comfortable working independently in a distributed remote engineering team.
- High ownership, fast execution and strong attention to engineering quality.
- GitHub, Google Play links or examples of shipped native Android applications are highly preferred.
