About the role
- Design, train, and deploy production-grade ML models for business-critical use cases.
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to define and execute AI solutions.
- Lead technical decision-making on model design, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure.
- Own the full model lifecycle - from data prep and training to evaluation, monitoring, and retraining.
- Guide junior AI engineers through code reviews, project planning, and mentorship
- Drive the hiring process: screen candidates, evaluate technical fit, and onboard top talent.
- Champion best practices in experimentation, model development, and production of AI
- Stay ahead of the curve - evaluate new tools, frameworks, and advancements in AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with models deployed in production
- Strong Python skills is a MUST
- Deep experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
- Solid understanding of ML lifecycles - from data pipelines and feature engineering to tuning, deployment, and monitoring
- Real-world experience building AI systems in domains like recommendation, NLP, or risk modeling
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating cross-functionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Based in Vietnam with Work Remote Setup
