Club Manager

• Oversee Asset Protection, security, theft, fraud, investigations, and related procedures within the field
• Support and continuously interact with club management to analyze shrink and identify profitability gaps
• Partner with club management and business owners to identify opportunities to protect assets, reduce shrink, and recommend solutions
• Remain current in asset protection technical skills (CCTV, alarms, POS analytics, investigations, case management)
• Work with club management to maintain security of buildings, including cameras, alarms, and security details
• Investigate internal and external theft, fraud, and organized retail crime cases; communicate results and provide recommendations for prosecution and terminations
• Perform in-person interviews of internal theft/fraud as requested and close out cases thoroughly and timely
• Collaborate on developing shrink strategies, assess high risk areas, and address team member incidents
• Coach and support Club Management through regular meetings to reinforce priorities and review trends
• Develop partnerships with field support teams (Operations, HR, Safety, Facilities) to support clubs
• Provide guidance and training on SAP, shrink reporting and analysis, merchandise tracking, reverse logistics, and physical inventory processes
• Analyze SAP data to pinpoint root causes of operational issues and recommend corrective actions
• Lead response to critical incidents and workplace violence, including data gathering, interviews, and preventative follow-up
• Support company initiatives by providing guidance based on industry best practices as they apply to Asset Protection

Regional Asset Protection Manager

• Responsible for all WC/GL claims in assigned clubs and working to limit BJ's liability
• Implement best practices for proper and efficient chemical usage and manage chemical vendors
• Follow up on accidents in real time with Investigations team to gather information and set action plans
• Conduct Risk Assessments in each assigned club focusing on Safety & Food Safety and implement corrective strategies
• Serve as key stakeholder in Bottom Quartile program for WC/GL and monitor charge out and incident rate reports
• Handle regulatory visits, ensure compliance, and minimize fines and violations
• Respond to and investigate all accidents and forklift incidents, set remediation and training
• Conduct routine club visits monitoring perishable areas, refrigeration, power outage responses, and product protection
• Deliver trainings (including ServSafe) and certify leadership; monitor and proctor certifications
• Manage pest mitigation: coordinate with Ecolab, lead cleanouts, inspect clubs, and follow up on pest activity
• Build and maintain partnerships with federal/local government agencies and health departments
• Respond to member food complaints and recalls and assist in recalling contaminated grinds at club level
• Monitor Fresh trax compliance, refrigeration alarms, and cold chain investigations leading to product loss

Regional Food Safety Manager

Events

• Process member purchases courteously and efficiently, including scanning merchandise and accepting payments
• Verify, renew, upgrade, and offer membership products; execute Acquisition 365 and cross-sell My BJs Perks
• Perform online order fulfillment (BOPIC, BOPIC Fresh, Curbside, Express Pay, Ship from Club)
• Pull merchandise from pick lists, build and shrink-wrap packages, move merchandise between sales floor and staging
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of front-line departments and specific departments (produce, bakery, deli, meat)
• Proof and bake bakery goods, unpack from freezer, and follow bakery production charts and safety standards
• Slice, package, weigh, and merchandise deli products and maintain deli display cleanliness
• Receive, rotate, cut, wrap, grind, and merchandise meats and assist with seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and rotisserie areas
