About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of national enterprise accounts
- Build trusted, multi-threaded relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within each account
- Proactively monitor account health, usage, and satisfaction to identify risk early and resolve issues before they escalate
- Own the renewal process end-to-end, negotiating terms and ensuring on-time, on-value renewals
- Act as an internal advocate for your accounts, coordinating with Support, Product, and Operations to ensure client needs are met
- Identify and execute expansion opportunities within existing accounts (upsell, cross-sell, additional locations/divisions/business units)
- Sell into net-new divisions, subsidiaries, or business lines within existing national accounts
- Build and execute strategic account plans with clear growth targets for each account in your portfolio
- Independently identify and sign new rooftops, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, then transitioning seamlessly into ongoing account management
- Deliver on renewal, retention, and expansion revenue targets (quota-carrying)
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Enterprise Sales, supporting large/national accounts
- Proven experience managing or selling into national automotive dealership groups (e.g., Lithia Motors, Group 1 Automotive, AutoNation, Asbury Automotive, or similar) required
- Proven track record of managing renewals, driving expansion revenue, and independently signing new rooftops/locations within existing named accounts-this role sells as much as it supports
- Strong consultative selling skills paired with genuine relationship-building instincts
- Experience navigating complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and long sales/renewal cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and comfort with pipeline forecasting
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to meet with national account stakeholders and visit dealership rooftops
