About the role
- Own the Finance domain — define and evolve the vision, strategy, and roadmap for payments, invoicing, reconciliation, and accounting integrations
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams to deeply understand workflows, compliance requirements, and pain points
- Optimize payment processes (issuance, collection, reconciliation) to ensure reliability, transparency, and automation at scale
- Enhance integrations with financial systems (ERP like Netsuite, accounting software, PSPs, banks) to streamline operations and reporting
- Identify and reduce manual work by designing automated, data-driven workflows and back-office tooling
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Qlik, Kibana) to prioritize initiatives and measure financial process efficiency
- Ensure compliance and audit readiness in collaboration with finance and legal teams
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in fintech, payments, accounting platforms, or operations-heavy B2B SaaS
- Proven track record in building or optimizing financial workflows — payments, reconciliation, invoicing, or accounting automation
- Experience collaborating with Finance and Operations stakeholders to turn manual, error-prone processes into scalable systems
- Solid understanding of payment gateways, accounting integrations (e.g., ERP, Netsuite, Xero), and transactional data pipelines
- A data-driven mindset, capable of defining and tracking key financial metrics (e.g., DSO, reconciliation rate, automation coverage)
- Fluent in English (Italian is a plus, not mandatory)
