Financial Planning and Analysis

• Data analysis: Conduct independent SQL querying and investigation of our backend databases and tables to bring unique product financial insights
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability analysis, LTV/CAC, cost analysis, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Track performance against these budgets and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Commercial Insights: Analyse sales data, customer trends, and market conditions to provide actionable commercial insights that drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly management reports, KPI dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, investment appraisals, and business cases.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements within the finance function to increase efficiency, accuracy, and insightfulness of financial analysis.

Compliance

• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity across customer accounts and transactions
• Monitor and respond to fraud alerts, identifying patterns and emerging threats
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on higher-risk customers
• Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) as required
• Conduct KYC screening including PEPs, sanctions, adverse media, and fitness & probity checks
• Manage ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of customer risk profiles
• Support AML reporting and regulatory submissions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes
• Manage Stripe disputes and Mastercard Mastercom chargeback cases end-to-end
• Investigate disputed transactions, gather evidence, and prepare representment documentation
• Track dispute outcomes and identify root causes to reduce future chargebacks
• Handle escalated customer tickets and complaints, including Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) cases
• Review and respond to CIFAS markers and data-sharing requests
• Work with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
• Evaluate and update fraud, AML, and compliance policies
• Support internal and external audits with third-party vendors
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
