About the role
- Lead national and international projects for our key clients
- Coordinate BITO-internal projects involving subsidiaries
- Overall project responsibility for on-time delivery and budget compliance; manage project activities and monitor project progress
- Apply project management tools and methodologies
- Ensure project-related information flow
- Serve as the contact person for external customers, BITO international locations, and suppliers
- Represent the project and the company internally and externally
- Coordinate on-site activities in collaboration with site managers
Requirements
- A completed technical or business-related qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience; however, we also offer entry-level candidates a chance as Junior Project Manager
- Certified project management experience (e.g., Project Manager IHK; GPM certification desirable)
- Knowledge of contract law, commercial skills (especially costing/estimation), and very good knowledge of current standard software
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages desirable
- Conflict management, teamwork, and communication skills
- High personal commitment and strong negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
