About the role

  • Identify high-potential prospective customers and grow new revenue across business sizes
  • Build and maintain relationships with executives, operational teams and developers
  • Present the value of Bitmovin solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Manage legal/procurement processes to create scalable global agreements
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, partner teams, channel experts, customer success, technical solutions) to make accounts successful
  • Frequent travel for conferences and customer meetings in the region

Requirements

  • Core skills: business development, sales, prospecting, verbal communication, analytical, relationship building, lead generation, closing, account management
  • Experience with software products in the Media & Entertainment vertical; mandatory Live Encoding
  • B2B sales experience in a revenue closing role in the Video/Streaming space
  • Relevant stakeholder and buyer network to be able to hit the road running
  • Motivation to travel extensively and spend time at industry events, prospects and customers
  • Multiple languages are a bonus
  • Technically savvy, able to champion Bitmovin products
  • Communicates effectively, listens sensitively, adapts communication to audience
  • Track record of building successful relationships with technical buyers/customers
  • Creative, able to develop new insights and encourage new ideas
  • Familiarity with sales frameworks (MEDDIC, Command of the message etc.)
  • Resilience and tenacity
  • Innovation: try new things, scale processes, problem solve
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
  • Strong time management skills - ability to prioritize projects and deliver against tight time scales
  • Knowledge of sales tools including Salesforce.com, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator (Outreach.io is a plus)
