About the role
- Coordination of topics and projects in the area of technical regulation and standardization.
- Management and support of our working groups.
- Monitoring political and strategic developments.
- Drafting policy position papers and guidance documents.
- Participation in technical committees and representing positions to policymakers and the public.
- Supporting press and public relations work.
- Informing members about standardization and the legal framework for the regulation of digital products.
- Supporting the team on standardization topics in subject areas such as Artificial Intelligence, information security and data.
- Designing and organizing specialist events and appearing as a speaker.
Requirements
- Completed university degree with above-average results, ideally in a technical field.
- Initial professional experience related to standardization.
- Strong interest in digital topics and their technical implementation.
- Some experience in the political environment is an advantage.
- High standards regarding the quality of work.
- Quick comprehension and technical understanding.
- Clear and comprehensible presentation of complex topics.
- Confident and authoritative manner with diplomatic skills.
- Excellent written and spoken German; very good command of English.
