Staff Accountant
Bitcoin DepotStaff Accountant responsible for financial reporting and auditing for Bitcoin Depot. Collaborating with auditors and providing customer service for account issues while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with annual audits and provide requested information to our auditors
- Assist in month-end close may include account analysis, preparing ad-hoc reports, reconciling data, auditing tenant payments, and performing analytical activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Leads the monthly rent payment processes for all store owners.
- Provides customer service regarding collection issues, process, and review account adjustments, resolve customer discrepancies and short payments
- Weekly and monthly reporting regarding the status of accounts
- Assist with related special projects and other duties as needed
- Identify internal control improvement opportunity and assist management with process changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-7+ years of overall general accounting experience required
- Public accounting experience preferred
- SaaS or Technology industry experience preferred
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
