About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the forecast and the process that produces it, using leading indicators, historical benchmarks, and sales inputs
Make the analytical case for capital allocation, hiring, event categories, digital investments, and multi-year plans
Pressure-test business targets and assumptions, identify initiatives that are not scaling, and recommend what to stop or add
Own planning for business units outside the core events budget, especially digital and new initiatives
Partner with department leaders on staffing plans and headcount business cases
Ensure financial numbers are accurate, consistent, reconciled with Accounting, and produced from a single source
Rebuild manual recurring reporting and lead evaluation of dedicated FP&A tooling
Prioritize work, review outputs, and set analytical and writing standards for the function
Support Bisnow’s CEO, Finance team, and department heads with data-driven insights, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations
Own financial modeling, forecasting, and performance tracking across Bisnow, Biscred, and SelectLeaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

8–12 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance
Clear progression in scope and ownership
Experience owning a company-level or major-segment forecast
Multi-business-line or multi-entity experience preferred
Experience forecasting a lumpy, project-based revenue business such as events, media, or marketplaces
Exceptional written communication suitable for a board, PE sponsor, or corporate parent
Ability to become fluent in a complicated business quickly and understand every Bisnow revenue line within 60 days
Expert financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
Ability to assess whether financial models are trustworthy
NetSuite or comparable ERP, Salesforce, and BI fluency welcome
Track record of replacing manual reporting with scalable, documented systems
FP&A platform selection or implementation experience is a plus
Working practice around AI in finance is a plus
Experience managing or formally developing finance talent
Ability to form recommendations independently and maintain high accountability
