About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with clients to create and gather requirements and document them according to standards
- Define and adhere to processes for requirement solicitation, documentation, and handoff
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and design teams to clarify requirements and define GUI and platform requirements
- Lead constructive discussions and brainstorming sessions to support solution implementation
- Run queries, perform basic system analysis, and conduct root-cause analysis
- Create interface mapping documents covering business rules, transformations, and database mappings
- Collaborate with clients and development teams throughout development stages
- Conduct milestone demos and track and close feedback
- Multitask across internal teams and clients according to task priorities
- Validate test scenarios, test plans, and test data
- Review requirements and documentation and create Requirements Traceability Matrices
- Assess product functionality against market trends and regulatory requirements for future versions
- Communicate requirements and product features to technical teams and architects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of experience stated for the SFDC BA position
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare payer domain
- Prior experience implementing or maintaining commercial payer solutions and/or Medicaid systems
- Strong understanding of claims processing, member enrollment, and care management concepts
- Ability to gather, create, and document client requirements according to standards
- Understanding of web services and relational databases
- Ability to run queries, perform basic system analysis, and conduct root-cause analysis
- Ability to create interface mapping documents including business rules, transformations, and database mappings
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to multitask between internal teams and clients based on priorities
- Ability to think out of the box and create new solutions
- Ability to validate test scenarios, test plans, and test data
- Ability to review requirements and create Requirements Traceability Matrices
- Ability to assess product functionality against market trends and regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate requirements with technical teams and architects
- MS Visio usage is optional
- Awareness of Jira, TFM, Azure DevOps, defect tracking, and version control tools is optional
