About the role

  • Serve as Product Owner for custom platforms, managing sustainability programmes and field trials for key clients
  • Develop and champion project processes and procedures to bridge gaps between client and internal teams, ensuring business solution acceptability
  • Facilitate prioritisation of annual roadmaps, aligning features with high-level business initiatives
  • Elicit, document, and manage use cases and requirements for client approval; develop features and user stories for development teams
  • Organise and facilitate daily scrum meetings, user story grooming, system demos, sprint, and release planning
  • Lead Quality Assurance (QA) efforts to ensure the highest level of product accuracy and quality in production releases
  • Process map current and future states to support strategic initiatives and identify process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software architects and engineers, to propose and deliver system solutions
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, including business and functional requirements, user stories, test plans, and training materials
  • Manage and build strong vendor relationships, including contract negotiations with software vendors
  • Lead and mentor Business Analyst and Quality Assurance teams, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and implementation of action items
  • Perform helpdesk and client support activities as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, CBAP, ISTQB) are advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in business analysis, QA, and project management roles
  • Proficient in Agile-Scrum and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote) and Confluence
  • Experienced in process mapping tools such as Blue Works Live and Visio
  • Familiarity with issue and project tracking tools such as JIRA and Agile Craft
  • Data analysis skills with tools such as WinSQL
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to diverse audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities using research and analytical methods
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing and managing teams and vendor relationships
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively under pressure in deadline-driven environments
  • Enjoys taking on challenging and complex projects.
