About the role

  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and design WMS solutions in Oracle EBS R12
  • Configure and support Oracle WMS, Inventory (INV), and related SCM modules
  • Analyze, design, and implement functionalities such as: LPN Management, Directed Picking & Putaway, Task Management, Material Movements, Rules Engine (Strategy/Rule Sets), Shipment, Receiving & Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA)
  • Develop and support RICE components —Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (techno-functional role)
  • Work on PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher for minor technical enhancements
  • Support barcode integrations, label printing, handheld/mobile solutions, and RF device configurations
  • Perform testing (SIT/UAT), create documentation, and train users on WMS processes
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and ensure timely resolution
  • Coordinate with cross-functional modules like OM, PO, INV, Shipping, and Costing
  • Collaborate with technical teams for development, deployments, and performance tuning

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 WMS as techno-functional consultant
  • Strong hands-on experience in WMS setups , rules, strategies, tasks, LPNs, and MSCA
  • Good functional knowledge of Inventory, Order Management, and Purchasing flows
  • Ability to prepare functional documents (MD050) and review technical documents (MD070)
  • Strong technical proficiency in: SQL / PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports (good to have), BI Publisher, Interfaces and data conversions
  • Experience supporting production environments and resolving WMS-related issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
