About the role

  • Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements
  • Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
  • Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Strong knowledge in Java/J2EE.
  • Experience in working in Agile-Scrum Methodology
  • Experience in working JIRA environment

Requirements

  • 10-12 years Experience
  • Managing small team of offshore (team size 6-8 members)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with HTML 5/CSS3
  • Hands-on experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
