About the role

  • Lead the design and implementation of Active Directory and Azure AD solutions
  • Create High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documents
  • Architect AD structures, OU hierarchy, and domain controller placement
  • Design and implement hybrid identity solutions using Azure AD Connect and cloud sync
  • Integrate AD with Microsoft cloud services (e.g., Azure Entra ID, Azure AD DS)
  • Lead AD migration projects using tools like Quest Migration Manager
  • Assess existing AD environments and propose optimization strategies
  • Develop and enforce AD security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure secure AD-to-Azure connectivity
  • Manage AD Group Policies, ADFS, DFS, and PKI infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 15+ yrs relevant experience with 8-10 years of AD Architect level experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with both on-premises AD and Azure AD
  • Deep understanding of AD dependencies for enterprise applications
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Experience with AD replication, FSMO roles, GPOs, and NTFS permissions
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management
  • Recommended Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
