About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for commissioning mechanical and cooling systems serving the data centre
Plan and execute L2/L3 mechanical tests
Mock-run L4 functional performance tests
Validate mechanical modules and skids fabricated in the shop
Coordinate with Controls/BMS Lead to ensure mechanical sequences of operation
Contribute to L5 scenario execution involving cooling
Document tests, issues, and resolutions consistently
Provide mechanical commissioning input to operations teams to support handover

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years in mechanical commissioning, TAB/FPT, or operations for data centres or similar mission‑critical facilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with ASHRAE commissioning guidance and large‑operator mechanical Cx requirements.
Experience with Cx platforms and data tools (CxAlloy, Procore, Facility Grid).
Relevant certifications (PE, CxA, BCxP, TAB/NEBB, etc.) are an asset.
