About the role
- Advising and representing national and international clients in patent litigation
- Providing counsel on all questions relating to patent law
- Working as part of the Patent Litigation team in Düsseldorf
- Managing large international patent disputes on both plaintiff and defendant sides
- Handling issues related to patent infringement and patent validity
- Drafting complaints and other court filings
- Attending oral hearings before the Unified Patent Court, national courts and the European Patent Office
Requirements
- Two above‑average state examination results (Staatsexamina)
- Ideally, study experience abroad
- Some professional experience is an advantage; entry‑level candidates are welcome
- Strong technical interest
- Prior experience in patent law not mandatory but desirable
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Professional, persuasive communication skills
- Interest in (litigation) legal issues and commercial/economic contexts
- Enjoys finding creative solutions
- Team player with a commitment to shared success
