About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the technical AS-IS diagnosis and TO-BE design of distribution center (DC) processes: receiving, dynamic putaway, replenishment, slotting, cross-docking, picking (FEFO, waves, wave picking, early pick, by weight/dimension), packing, shipping, cycle counting, reverse logistics, transfers and returnable asset control
Structure and run technical RFP processes with market WMS vendors (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Infor, Infios, Oracle, Senior, Totvs and alternatives)
Create evaluation scorecards, perform TCO analysis and deliver a well-founded platform recommendation
Facilitate technical workshops with Logistics, IT, Architecture and business user teams
Prepare GAP matrices, business cases and indicative implementation timelines
Act as technical interface with architecture teams, legacy systems and integration layers (ESB, iPaaS)
Serve as senior reference for architectural decisions and functional trade-offs
Mentor mid-level and junior consultants assigned to the project
Lead end-to-end WMS implementations, from solution design through test execution, validation and hypercare/assisted operations
Conduct industry benchmarking, TCO analysis and business case development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed: all fields welcome. Postgraduate education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Management or an MBA is a plus
Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Strong client communication skills
Ability to manage tasks and demands independently
More than 4 years of WMS experience, with hands-on work on at least two market platforms
Experience as technical lead in a minimum of 2 software selection and/or WMS implementation projects in food retail, convenience, consumer goods, 3PL or logistics in Brazil
Deep knowledge of leading WMS platforms: Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Infor, Infios (formerly Körber/HighJump), Oracle WMS, Senior, Totvs, etc.
Experience interfacing with ERPs (Oracle EBS, SAP, Protheus) and integration layers (SOA, Digibee, MuleSoft or equivalent)
Familiarity with structured project management methodologies: PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent
TOGAF certification is a plus
