About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual financial statements in accordance with the regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil (Banco Central do Brasil), COSIF, and applicable accounting pronouncements.
- Prepare explanatory notes.
- Perform accounting analyses and validations of the information that make up the balance sheet, income statement, statement of comprehensive income, cash flow statement, statement of changes in equity (DMPL) and other regulatory reports.
- Execute account reconciliations and analyses of equity and results variations, identifying inconsistencies and proposing corrections.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Financial Management, or related fields.
- Required knowledge:
- Knowledge of COSIF, the Chart of Accounts for Institutions of the National Financial System (Plano Contábil das Instituições do Sistema Financeiro Nacional) and Central Bank regulations.
- Experience in preparing financial statements for banks and finance companies.
