About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead migrations of workloads from on-premises to the cloud
Implement new cloud solutions from design through delivery
Create base environments and automate provisioning
Incident response and problem management for cloud services
Monitor infrastructure and applications
Manage patching and scheduled maintenance
Administer backup and recovery
Manage change requests
Optimize performance and costs
Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance and reduce technical debt
Orchestrate and manage containers (Kubernetes)
Maintain integrations and APIs
Automate processes and infrastructure
Follow defined corporate standards and processes
Produce technical documentation
Share knowledge and support less experienced professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience as a Cloud Engineer / Cloud Administrator
Solid experience with at least one public cloud (Azure or AWS)
Strong hands-on knowledge of:
Networking and connectivity
Cloud security
Identity and access management
Service provisioning
Proven experience with Terraform (IaC)
Knowledge of DevOps and GitOps practices
Experience with Kubernetes and managed services (AKS/EKS)
Programming for automation (preferably Python)
Advanced English for professional communication
Organized, autonomous, and able to prioritize tasks
Proactive and collaborative mindset
Ability to solve problems independently
Good communication with technical and business teams
Commitment to documentation and quality
Interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing
Certifications (desired):
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Experience with highly automated and standardized environments
