About the role

  • Lead, structure and execute IT Governance consulting projects focused on process optimization, governance/management models, value chain and organizational structures.
  • Map, model and document IT processes using BPMN notation.
  • Conduct reviews and propose improvements to IT organizational structures to increase efficiency and strategic alignment.
  • Implement and monitor the execution of new IT Governance processes and controls, ensuring adherence and sustainability of solutions.
  • Apply and deploy IT frameworks and best practices such as COBIT and ITIL in real process and project contexts.
  • Develop and track performance and compliance indicators to measure governance effectiveness, IT process performance and organizational structure performance.
  • Promote an IT governance and process culture by training teams and disseminating knowledge.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to map needs and identify opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of governance and compliance within IT, ensuring adherence to established processes and policies.
  • Prepare and deliver management and executive presentations to report on project deliverables and results.
  • Work across the entire value chain of processes, from data collection, organization and analysis to the design and implementation of data-driven strategic solutions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in IT Governance, Project Management, Process Management or related areas is a plus.
  • Proven experience in IT Governance projects and Process Consulting.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience implementing COBIT 2019 and ITIL V4/V5 frameworks. Certifications are a plus (e.g., COBIT 2019 Foundation, ITIL 4 Foundation).
  • Experience with Agile, traditional or hybrid methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN and PMBOK).
  • Expertise in business and IT process mapping and modeling, proficient in BPMN notation and modeling tools (e.g., Bizagi, Miro). Certifications in these areas are a plus (e.g., CBPP, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience performing diagnostics, defining and implementing IT process governance and value chain governance.
  • Practical experience in the review, proposal and implementation of IT organizational structures.
  • Relevant experience implementing IT governance processes, solutions and metrics.
  • Familiarity and experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application in IT projects, and proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to understand business challenges and propose tailored, data-driven solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the oil and gas sector environment and challenges (desirable).
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, proactivity, analytical skills and systems thinking.
  • Advanced English (reading and technical writing).
