About the role

  • Manage and provide client support during SAP ERP implementation
  • Specialization in accounting or a related field, project mapping, or processes
  • At least one team member must have knowledge or be a certified SAP ERP specialist, or have experience implementing module requirements
  • One team member should serve as the project PMO
  • Mediate and advise on conflicts between the Integrator and the Client
  • Support the definition of the client's architecture with the new ERP
  • Analyze and support IT in defining required integrations
  • Organize and direct ERP testing and acceptance phases
  • Support integrated testing
  • Conduct process mapping, create As-Is designs, present identified gaps, and prepare meeting minutes
  • Develop presentations detailing the results of the process diagnosis
  • Develop a To-Be process aligned with client expectations
  • Develop functional specifications for systems focusing on changes introduced by new processes
  • Provide functional support to the technical team during solution development
  • Log and track open items for business areas
  • Support scope control and escalation management to ensure adherence to schedule and scope
  • Prepare management and executive-level presentations
  • Work collaboratively with strong, assertive communication
  • Act as the project reference point by proactively proposing solutions and supporting project needs
  • Work within Change Management pillars and be familiar with areas such as Stakeholder Engagement, Training, Communication Plan, Issue and Risk Identification and Handling, and post-rollout support
  • Interact with the project team, client, and other stakeholders to assess needs and review solution designs; define and execute stakeholder engagement strategies and develop/apply action plans for stakeholder management
  • Develop analyses, formulate hypotheses, and present solutions to client needs
  • Work on projects of varying scopes: strategic planning, process mapping and redesign, operating models, performance indicator management, change management, and more
  • Build and monitor a risk matrix, including developing action plans and tracking risk mitigation
  • Define strategy and training plan, design monitoring and feedback model, and track the plan and coverage of required competencies
  • Support other consultants with project tasks
  • Analyze documents, databases/reports, and develop analyses
  • Conduct interviews and lead workshops

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, or Business Administration
  • Experience in regulated environments with knowledge of governance practices, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in projects focused on improving or redesigning financial, accounting, or tax processes
  • Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems, preferably with experience in requirements gathering, configuration, or module implementation
  • Certification in tax or accounting specializations from an accredited institution (e.g., recognized by Brazil's Ministry of Education - MEC) or from organizations noted for excellence in courses and publications
  • SAP specialization certification, or demonstrated technical ability to implement requirements in SAP system modules
