About the role
- Responsible for sales, technical support and correct product positioning in accordance with corporate strategy.
- Management of the distribution system, market knowledge to capture business opportunities and service to resellers and farmers.
- Build trust-based relationships with the Leader, peers and customers by example and in accordance with Company Policies.
- Be fully aligned with your Manager/Coordinator and request performance feedback whenever you perceive the Leader is not providing feedback with the necessary frequency.
- Execute strategies defined by Marketing for prospecting new customers and retaining the current portfolio in your region.
- Prepare monthly reports for discussion with immediate leadership and other business areas in order to propose improvements or course corrections focused on delivering monthly/annual results.
- Execute the steps that make up the commercial negotiation and connect the company with its customers, providing technical support and correct product positioning according to the regional strategy.
- Plan and carry out your work through customer visits, where you present and demonstrate products, clarify doubts and follow up on after-sales.
- Responsible for demand generation and market development.
- Be a problem solver: analyze the problem, understand the cause, build a solution and share it with the immediate Manager for approval or rejection of the proposal.
- Ensure an increase in wallet share within the current customer portfolio.
- Identify and become a technical reference among opinion leaders and schedule periodic visits for the development of biological/natural products.
- Support the reseller CTVs so that they become multipliers of biological/natural products.
- Take a leading role in evaluations of field product tests.
- Be attentive to competitors and inform the company about strategic or tactical moves.
- Lead and provide direction to the ATV field team.
- Stay well aligned with the ATVs to understand how your products are performing on each property.
- Promote and publicize corporate initiatives to increase visibility of the brand and strategic products.
- Conduct trainings: deliver technical presentations about the product, application, specific uses, benefits and results to product applicators on the farms.
- Generate weekly reports of visits.
- Collect all producer documentation for registration, credit limit, Assignment of Credit, Barter, etc.
- Sell ("place orders").
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy.
- Knowledge of the Serra Gaúcha region.
- Experience with cereal and fruit & vegetable crops.
- Experience servicing resellers and direct sales.
- Reside in the city of operation or nearby.
- Experience with biologicals is a plus.
- Valid Category B driver's license required.
