About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage assigned patient reimbursement and coordination cases for the NavieGo branch
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare providers
  • Coordinate the entire patient journey
  • Enroll patients into NavieGo-managed programs through physician contacts
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clinics and physicians, including site visits
  • Request missing or additional information from physician offices, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers
  • Obtain prescription drug coverage for patients
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals
  • Coordinate documents, submissions, and paperwork for insurance companies and public funding programs
  • Coordinate clinic appointments and drug deliveries within required timelines
  • Build relationships with patients and key healthcare providers
  • Implement best practices to maximize patient access to drug coverage
  • Coordinate pharmacy processes after funding is obtained
  • Apply knowledge of public and private funding systems
  • Work rotating Monday–Friday shifts covering 8 AM to 8 PM EST

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered Nurse designation and current provincial licensing required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer/client service and health care reimbursement
  • Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, including Word and Excel
  • Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner
  • Ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet competing deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work rotating Monday–Friday shifts supporting various regions of Canada
  • English/French bilingualism is an asset; French and English bilingualism is required for positions based in Quebec
