About the role

  • BiOptimizers: supplements and performance-focused health products company focused on peak biological performance
  • Role: Copywriter supporting Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and eCommerce marketing across channels
  • Write performance marketing ads for social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), Google Ads, and display to boost acquisition and ROAS
  • Create email and retention campaigns (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, loyalty)
  • Write concise SMS campaigns to drive engagement and conversions
  • Craft promotional campaign copy for product launches, seasonal promotions, flash sales, and limited-time offers
  • Produce persuasive product descriptions and optimized landing page copy to maximize conversions
  • Run A/B tests on copy variations and iterate based on performance data
  • Maintain brand voice and adapt tone across channels and audiences

Requirements

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience with a focus on eCommerce and DTC brands
  • Proven expertise in performance marketing copy with demonstrable results in ROAS improvement
  • Strong background in retention marketing, including email marketing automation and customer lifecycle campaigns
  • Experience with SMS marketing campaigns and mobile-first copy best practices
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful promotional campaigns that drove significant revenue growth
  • Strong grasp of consumer psychology and persuasion techniques (behavioral science insights a bonus)
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret analytics and adjust copy strategy
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization
  • Preferred: Health and wellness industry experience (dietary supplements, vitamins, nutraceuticals)
  • Preferred: Understanding of FDA regulations for health-related marketing claims
  • Preferred: Experience writing for subscription-based business models
  • Preferred: Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce content
  • Preferred: Experience with user-generated content campaigns and influencer marketing copy
