About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Head of Supplier Management in delivering strategic and operational supplier initiatives that drive revenue, EBITDA, and customer outcomes.
Build, manage, and develop strong supplier relationships across SME and Major Business portfolios.
Monitor supplier and portfolio performance, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and commercial results.
Own and deliver regular performance reporting, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Present supplier performance updates, market insights, and benchmarking data to internal and external audiences.
Lead operational supplier meetings and support strategic reviews.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supplier issues, improve processes, and drive performance enhancements.
Support supplier onboarding, due diligence, tender processes, and supplier agreement reviews.
Act as the first point of escalation for supplier-related queries and operational matters.
Represent the business at supplier meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Project management experience with the ability to balance multiple priorities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
Experience or knowledge of the energy industry
Highly organised, analytical, and detail oriented
Confident using Excel and PowerPoint
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
Positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset
Confident presenter with a professional approach
Driven to succeed in a growing business
