About the role
- Handle final processing and release testing of instruments sent from Contract Manufacturer and customer returns.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair of internal and field return instruments.
- Maintain device history records for internal and external instruments.
- Assist in maintaining equipment calibration/maintenance system.
- Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective/preventative action and continuous improvements.
- Ensure adherence to Quality System requirements throughout product lifecycle.
- Provide support to receiving inspection, document control, internal auditing, and training processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in ISO and GMP regulated manufacturing environment required.
- Hands-on with strong analytical and organization skills.
- Strong in electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Close attentions to details.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrated experience with fluorescence microscopy techniques.
- Medical device instrument manufacturing knowledge and experience.
- Experience in safety and ergonomics work environment.
