About the role

  • Independently analyze, control and execute sales and demand planning for the assigned product area using the inventory and planning tool
  • Responsible for supply planning (planning, review, control and continuous tracking of inventory levels and demand) based on replenishment proposals in the inventory and planning tool
  • Calculate and implement cost-optimal order quantities with regard to shelf life (MHD) and disposal risk, and to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory
  • Ensure an accurate and consistently maintained master data landscape (e.g., MOQ, lead times, safety stock levels, shelf lives, ABC classification)
  • Responsible for building, maintaining and continuously improving supply chain management reporting (e.g., inventory, coverage, stock-out results and risks, OTIF)

Requirements

  • Completed degree with a relevant focus, or commercial training, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain management (SCM) or production processes
  • Confident communication skills in German and English
  • Proficient and experienced with MS Office; ideally also with an ERP/inventory management system and other IT tools
  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
