About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies based on short-term and long-term talent needs across Commercial organization groups
- Drive the hiring process and execute recruitment strategy as primary contact for assigned functions
- Consult managers on talent assessment, selection, and the end-to-end candidate lifecycle for critical business roles
- Align talent attraction, compensation and benefits, mobility, culture and inclusion, HRBP, and other partners to achieve hiring goals
- Identify optimal sourcing channels and advise the business on talent acquisition best practices
- Drive Biogen brand awareness and attract talent through job postings, social media, and other modalities
- Foster a data-driven and innovative talent acquisition culture
- Collect and analyze data, present insights to business leaders, and influence business outcomes
- Deliver services through direct partnership with outsourced solution providers
- Participate in or co-lead special projects, hiring builds, continuous improvement initiatives, and change management exercises
- Participate in Culture and Inclusion initiatives, including Employee Resource Groups programming
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Six (6) or more years of strategic talent acquisition experience, including agency and/or in-house experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong preference for life sciences experience in a commercial function
- Experience with both home office and field sales expansions preferred
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively
- Experience developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, techniques, tools, and results
- Experience with direct sourcing/cold calling passive candidates
- Market intelligence gathering experience
- Target company/organization mapping and org-charting experience
- Pipeline building experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and build support for ideas and initiatives
- Solid candidate assessment skills
- Expertise in behavioral interviewing techniques
