About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Canada
- Validate payroll inputs including compensation changes, benefits, deductions, time records, and employee status updates
- Ensure payroll compliance with applicable regulations and company policies
- Perform payroll reconciliations, reporting, accounting support, and audit activities
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and payroll vendors to deliver payroll excellence
- Resolve payroll issues, inquiries, and escalations
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of progressive payroll experience
- demonstrated knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
- advanced Excel proficiency
- deep understanding of payroll controls, compliance, taxation, and audits
- French language proficiency
