About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide accountability and primary oversight of the execution of multiple portfolio assets
- Lead activities from clinical perspective and ensure successful management of development aspects of our marketed assets
- Deliver scientific leadership across trial level DU activities in partnership with various functions.
- Represent Biogen in external collaborations and events as relates to these assets (such as Regulatory discussions and scientific meetings)
- Act as the DU representative in business development activities if required
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD with significant clinical experience; clinical training in internal medicine, neurology or psychiatry is desired
- At least 10 years of clinical and clinical research experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience and industry experience in clinical late stage clinical development or medical affairs
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- Strategic and critical thinking in managing assets through life cycle and with eye towards differing geographies having differing needs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
