About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Purchasing Intern will be a member of the Purchasing team within the Procurement department, supporting the team in the completion of activities within the request to purchase order process.
Responding to stakeholders in the ServiceNow ticket management tool.
Performing changes on Purchase Orders in the Oracle system.
Various ad hoc tasks provided by the Analysts.
Exposure to compliance ensuring activities, such as checking potential purchases against vendor contracts.
Provide answers and solutions to end users via the ServiceNow ticketing system, emails, Teams chat, and calls.
Issue Purchase Orders in Oracle.
Support ad hoc requests from Purchasing Analysts and Purchasing manager.
Review the internal documentation while performing the tasks, ensuring the accuracy of the process description, and make corrections or suggestions as needed.
Escalation of system technical issues and process issues.
