About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of the integrated plan for one or more assets to maximize value creation and execution.
  • Establish and maintain clear asset goals, timelines, and risk management in partnership with project management functions.
  • Drive accountability of functional team members and delivery of functional-level plans that integrate with overarching asset strategies.
  • Represent the asset at portfolio governance forums and engage with senior stakeholders in the organization.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders and governance to support asset execution and portfolio decision-making.
  • Create and maintain conditions for a strong team culture that facilitates effective planning and execution of the asset strategy.
  • Actively participate in the department community of practice to share learnings and promote synergies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree strongly preferred (MS/MD/PhD/PharmD/MBA)
  • 10+ years of drug development experience in pharma or biotech
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic leadership in cross-functional teams
  • Experience in creating and executing clinical development plans aligned with strategic goals
  • Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to develop a deep understanding of therapeutic areas
  • Understanding of competitive and business implications of scientific and medical data
