About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for sales of Simple Western and Cellular Analysis instruments and related systems and consumables in the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the portfolio to increase sales and grow market share.
- Support customers throughout the Boston/Cambridge territory.
- Achieve sales targets through application of consultative selling methods.
- Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accounts.
- Work closely with the full Commercial Team to ensure a coordinated approach to customers.
- Use SalesForce.com to manage all active leads, customers, and opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts for instruments and reagents in the Immunoassay Product Lines.
- Ensure customers understand the value proposition and applications of all relevant products.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in a science related field required
- 5+ years of sales experience in the Life Science tools space
- 2+ years selling in related market and space.
- High value capital equipment sales experience
- Familiar with standard scientific methods, techniques, reagents & equipment relevant to Bio-Techne’s product line
- Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
- Proficiency in executing value-based sales techniques
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to map key accounts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
