About the role
- Drive long-term value creation across RUO Proteins, Small Molecules, and other ACS product categories.
- Shape and execute a portfolio strategy to support Growing and Leveraging the Core.
- Optimize portfolio performance through data in alignment with business goals, customer needs, and operational systems.
- Define and execute a structured lifecycle management strategy, incorporating product maturity models and end-of-life strategies.
- Drive analysis and recommendations to inform product evolution and differentiation.
- Design and implement scalable portfolio models, including robust product hierarchies and standardized data structures.
- Co-lead the NPI phase-gate process to ensure a unified approach to new product development and launch.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in portfolio or product management, preferably in a technology, industrial, or life sciences setting.
- Proven experience with NPI phase-gate processes, lifecycle management, and cross-functional program leadership.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large data sets and portfolio dashboards.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP, PLM, or portfolio management tools a plus.
