About the role
- Create dynamic designs for web, email, social, digital presentations, digital literature, tradeshow experiences and wireframes, and prototypes using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Incorporate micro-interactions, motion concepts, and interactive behaviors into design solutions where appropriate (UI animations, transitions, hover states, simple Lottie/GIF-style assets)
- Translate brand systems into flexible, scalable digital experiences that feel modern and engaging
- Act as a primary creative partner to the UI/UX team, participating in regular syncs, reviews, and working sessions
- Bridge creative, technical, and strategic needs by translating vision into scalable execution - documenting best practice and informally training designers on new processes, tools, or design system updates
- Help evolve and improve cross-functional workflows, ensuring handoffs between Creative, UI/UX, and development are efficient and consistent
- Design with CMS constraints and capabilities in mind, partnering closely with developers to ensure feasible, production-ready solutions
- Support page building and content layout within CMS platforms, with a strong preference for Drupal 11 experience
- Apply HTML/CSS literacy to inform layout decisions, component behavior, and handoff clarity
- Participate in design reviews, feedback loops, and iteration cycles
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Apply and evolve design system standards within day-to-day execution
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance considerations are embedded in design solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in digital design or graphic design, with a focus on web and mobile interfaces
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- A robust portfolio demonstrating strength in web design and other digital collateral (email, social, landing pages, digital advertising), systems thinking and real-world execution
- Strong attention to detail, organization and production quality.
