About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform installations, qualifications and preventive maintenance on complex electro-mechanical scientific instruments in a laboratory environment
Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure efficient service
Prepare samples for instrument testing
Complete service protocols that meet cGMP documentation requirements
Manage and schedule customer appointments
Timely submission of service reports to clients, accurate data entry into CRM software
Support Sales, Field Applications and Technical Support Teams with pre and post sales inquiries and tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree in an engineering or science field
1 year of field service experience in a life science, biotech or medical industry OR completion of military electrical technical training and 1 year of field service experience in a life science, biotech or medical industry OR minimum of 3 years of field service experience in a life science, biotech or medical industry
Strong computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office and Outlook
Salesforce experience is a plus
Laboratory experience is preferred
Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
