About the role
- Answer incoming calls from patients and referral sources
- Accurately enter new patient information into company computer system
- Obtain written order from physician, verify insurance and generate orders
- Ensure the customer and referral sources are kept up to date on order status
- Process diabetic testing orders and continuous glucose monitor orders
- Resolve missing order issues including UPS/USPS tracking
- Frontline connection between patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams; coordinate communication across departments
- 4-6 weeks in-person training, remote after training; work Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to navigate a multi-line switchboard and company provided laptop
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
