About the role
- Deliver compassionate, hands-on care to patients in both retail and home settings
- Set up patients with PAP therapy and provide instruction on usage of the equipment
- Set up and support ventilator supplies
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory equipment and safety
- Provide top-notch respiratory care in both home and retail settings
- Conduct follow-up visits and check-ins with our oxygen therapy patients
- Troubleshoot equipment or offer guidance
- Recommend oral/tracheal hygiene and help manage trach care
- On-call coverage to ensure no breath is left behind after hours
- Work closely with patients, caregivers, and teammates to ensure smooth care
- Help verify insurance and coordinate financial details with patients
Requirements
- Registered or registry-eligible with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Excellent verbal communication and people skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience with DME or HME preferred
- A positive attitude and a genuine love for patient care
