About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive to rural areas to install & service devices on farm locations
Disinfect tires and boots at sites
Climb feed bins between 10 and 40 ft tall and install sensors
Troubleshoot basic issues on field devices where applicable
Adhere to biosecurity rules for farm locations
Maintain accurate mileage records and time sheets

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma
Working at heights certification
Clean driving record with ability to drive 8 - 10 hrs per day
Reliable smartphone with basic knowledge of how to use it and take basic measurements
Organizational and problem solving skills
Great communication skills to work with customers
Positive attitude and service minded
Solid work ethic and a high standard for yourself and respect for others
Trustworthy, prompt and reliable
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
Physically able to climb and lift more than 50lbs.
Experience working at heights
Experience using power tools
Experience working with electronics
