About the role
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to plan and execute validation projects.
- Validate new Data Center designs to meet customer requirements.
- Lead requirements discussions, build lab configurations, author and execute test plans, and document results.
- Configure and maintain test environments integrating new technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex networking problems and support solution delivery.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure project success.
- Develop documentation for processes, solutions, and results.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and new business growth.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience with Data Center and Networking technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platforms (focus on N9K).
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2 & 3 networking and routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP).
- Experience with virtualization (network and server); Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
- Programming/scripting skills (preferably Python) and familiarity with APIs, YANG models, and configuration management.
- Strong customer-facing and troubleshooting experience (TAC background preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred.
