About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal and administrative support to the litigation team
- Maintain comprehensive tracker of all litigation matters
- Handle small legal claims that may have been escalated to Legal;
- Assist with requests from third parties, including requests for information;
- Assist with reporting of litigations to internal stakeholders
- Assist the team with onboarding external counsels (drafting letters of engagements, managing costs and budgeting of matters, reviewing bills etc.)
- Support on various aspects of litigation cases, including discovery and data production, preparing witness evidence and liaising with external counsels
- Lead and/or support wider projects for the litigation team to improve team efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Law Bachelor's degree or an equivalent legal qualification required, in a common law jurisdiction (preference for England & Wales, but other common law jurisdictions will be considered)
- Previous experience in legal role highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and a need for rigor and reliability
- Proactive and a self-starter. Must be able to move with agility in a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment
- A high level of autonomy is required for the role. Proven experience in handling your own workload will be preferred.
- Hands-on and capable of independently managing multiple projects as necessary
