About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the trading systems on the backend portal that configures and controls trading logic.
Translate complex business requirements into clear technical product specifications for engineering implementation.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver system improvements with high accuracy, stability, and scalability.
Manage key trading logic configurations, examples like contract parameters, leverage/margin rules, liquidation, funding- rates, and risk limits.
Partner with Trading Risk, Product Operations, and Business stakeholders to ensure system updates/enhancements are safe, compliant, and well-governed.
Monitor system performance and incidents, support troubleshooting, and drive continuous optimization of internal workflows and controls.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors, Masters/PHD degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quant fields.
Less than 5 years of experience (including internships), ideally in trading systems, backend product, fintech, quant, or platform roles.
Strong understanding of trading fundamentals such as order book mechanics, margin, leverage, liquidation, PnL, and risk management concepts.
Strong logical thinking and ability to work with complex mathematical models and system rules.
Comfortable working with data and technical teams; experience with SQL/Python/Excel is a strong plus.
Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
