About the role

  • Media Planning & Buying: manage clients, contribute to growing client and agency business, understand client strategies and KPIs, support Client Development, develop strategic writing skills, review and approve media-related contracts, lead end-to-end planning and account ownership
  • Project Management: manage shared file drives, ensure timely activation of media campaigns, liaise with vendors on artwork delivery and approvals, manage campaign reporting (Proof of Posting and Campaign Attribution), adopt templates and guidelines, juggle multiple deadlines, coordinate calendars and meetings, strong adoption of tools and systems
  • Thought Leadership: develop industry knowledge, attend meetings and events, share knowledge and best practices, advocate Billups' mission/vision/purpose, contribute to company initiatives, stay up to date on OOH media landscape
  • Business Development: develop and convert new business opportunities, collaborate with team leadership and Client Development, help identify revenue growth opportunities, maintain vendor relationships and margin goals, secure and execute prospect meetings
  • Professionalism and Compliance: comply with company policies and procedures, complete assigned company training, adopt and contribute to tools and systems
  • Team Leadership Duties: supervise and lead Assistants/Account Executives/Senior Account Executives, provide training and onboarding, monitor workflow, conduct regular 1:1s, address underperformance, champion organizational change, ensure clear communication, manage and resolve conflicts, establish team goals, foster collaboration and inclusion, identify and develop future leaders

Requirements

  • Required Media Experience 3 - 5 years
  • Experience delivering the highest standards of client service levels
  • Experience in negotiating pricing and booking campaigns
  • Reasoning: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area; apply basic algebra and geometry
  • Some experience using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, email communication and CRM software
  • The desire to grow yourself, your line reports, and Billups' business
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in media and/or advertising is required
  • Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
