About the role
- Provide pre-test and post-test genetic counseling to patients for BillionToOne’s test offerings, including carrier screening with reflex single-gene NIPT, aneuploidy NIPT, and NIPT for fetal antigen conditions
- Draft accurate and timely test reports for ordering providers, ensuring a high level of attention to detail
- Contribute to the development of patient and provider educational materials
- Communicate test results to providers as needed
- Obtain and maintain genetic counseling licensure as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s degree in genetic counseling or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in prenatal genetic counseling (required)
- Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to conduct consultations with Spanish-speaking patients (strongly preferred)
- ABGC certification and active licensure in home state, if applicable
- Multi-state licensure (preferred)
- Experience with variant interpretation (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality genetic counseling and customer service
