About the role
- Responsible for the architecture, implementation, and operation of modern platform and software components — with a focus on microservices, API‑first approaches, and an AWS‑based infrastructure
- Drive the gradual renewal of the existing platform and implement modular, scalable services
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and efficient deployment processes
- Lead, coach, and develop a strong, interdisciplinary engineering and DevOps team — including recruiting, knowledge building, and establishing agile routines
- Ensure clear priorities, clean architectural decisions, and transparency of progress through close coordination with product management, security, IT infrastructure, and external partners
Requirements
- Several years of experience in software development and the architecture of modern web and cloud systems (e.g., Kotlin, TypeScript, React, Node.js, JVM‑based frameworks)
- Solid knowledge of microservices design, API‑first models, and cloud operations, particularly on AWS
- Proven track record in technical leadership — e.g., as Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or Team Lead
- Confident with DevOps automation, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and logging
- Good understanding of IT security and data protection, ideally in ISO‑27001‑like environments
- You speak at least business‑fluent German.
