About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you are the central point of contact for all recruiting matters and will build a professional recruiting function that we have not had before.
  • Your mission: find the right people, hire them quickly and use every euro wisely.
  • End-to-end responsibility for the entire recruiting process, from defining requirements to contract signing
  • Manage a deliberately restrictive, budget-focused hiring process with clear prioritization of open positions
  • Create target-group-oriented job postings and select appropriate recruiting channels
  • Conduct structured interviews and establish robust selection processes for well-founded hiring decisions
  • Manage external service providers such as recruitment agencies and job boards with a focus on efficiency and cost-awareness
  • Proactively identify and directly approach suitable candidates, especially for hard-to-fill roles in Tech, E‑Commerce and Logistics
  • Build and maintain a sustainable talent pool and manage long-term relationships with relevant candidates
  • Develop creative active-sourcing strategies via LinkedIn, specialist platforms and relevant networks
  • Professionalize and further develop recruiting processes in Personio and establish clear standards across the workflow
  • Ensure a compelling candidate experience from first contact through onboarding
  • Introduce and manage transparent recruiting reporting (e.g., Time-to-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, Channel Effectiveness, pipeline transparency)
  • Co-create an authentic employer positioning together with the People team
  • Further develop the careers page and actively strengthen the employer brand in the Aachen region and within the e-commerce environment
  • Advise hiring managers on refining role profiles, conducting interviews and making decisions
  • Work closely with the Head of People and contribute recruiting perspectives to strategic HR decisions
  • Constructively challenge requirements to ensure realistic and market-aligned filling of open positions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2–3 years of recruiting experience, ideally in-house at a mid-sized company or at an agency with a focus on E‑Commerce, Tech or Logistics
  • Proven success in active sourcing and direct outreach via LinkedIn and comparable platforms
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruiting processes — from clarifying requirements to contract negotiation
  • Confident use of ATS systems (ideally Personio) and data-driven recruiting reporting
  • Ability to advise hiring managers as a peer and to critically question role requirements
  • Structured, independent and pragmatic — you don’t need close supervision to deliver results
  • Experience building or professionalizing recruiting structures is a strong plus
  • Excellent German and English skills
